Appeals deadline

Appeals against administrative decisions shall be submitted to the Welfare Appeals Committee in writing within three months of the date when the party to the case is informed of the decision unless other provisions are made in the act on which the decision that is the subject of the appeal is based. Appeals shall be regarded as having been submitted in time if the letters containing them are delivered to the committee, or have been posted, before the deadline.

Appeals for the administrative decisions based on the Act on Debt Mitigation for Individuals, no. 101/2010, must be brought to the Welfare Appeals Committee within two weeks of the date when the party to the case was informed of the decision.

Appeals for the administrative decisions based on the Child Protection Act, No. 80/2002, must be brought to the Welfare Appeals Committee within four weeks of the date when the party to the case was informed of the decision.
